About

Built by a club secretary, for club volunteers.

MVP Cricket is cricket club management software for UK clubs, built by someone who does the job: Rob Harvey, Secretary and Treasurer of Brookweald Cricket Club.

Why it exists

Running a cricket club is a second job done for free. At Brookweald, Rob was the one chasing forty people every week for availability and match fees, between a WhatsApp group, a spreadsheet and Play-Cricket. None of the apps he tried fixed it, because none of them gave players a reason to open them.

The leaderboard did. Turning every Play-Cricket scorecard into MVP points gave players something to check after every game, and once they were in the app, answering availability, confirming selection and paying their fees stopped being a chase.

Proved before it was sold

MVP Cricket ran a full season at Brookweald before any other club was let near it: fixtures, selection, published team sheets and more than £7,000 in match fees from 40+ members. Read how the season went.

What we believe

Club money is the club’s. Payments go into the club’s own Stripe account and we never take a percentage.
Free should be free. The leaderboard, player stats and Play-Cricket sync are free forever, with no card and no trial clock.
Work with Play-Cricket, not around it. It stays your official record; we read from it and add what it doesn’t do.
Prices in public. The same for every club, on the pricing page.
