Cookie policy.

Short version: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your choices. Analytics cookies only if you say yes. No advertising cookies, no tracking you around the web.

Cookies we always set

These are strictly necessary, so under UK rules (PECR) they do not need your consent. The sign-in cookies only appear once you sign in.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept

Our marketing pages (the home page, pricing and the pages linked from them, not the app itself) use Google Analytics. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, none are set: Google Analytics runs in its consent mode and only receives an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, which we see as totals. If you accept, it sets these:

You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Rejecting deletes the analytics cookies. We never allow advertising cookies. Vercel, our host, also measures page speed without cookies.

Local storage

Inside the app, a few small preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never sent to us and you can clear them at any time.

Install prompt dismissed	So we stop suggesting you add the app to your home screen once you have said no.
Match-day preferences	Small settings on the match-day screens, such as a filter you last used.
Recently selected players	Speeds up the live match-day player list on that device.

Payments

When you pay a match fee or subs, the checkout page is hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those are covered by Stripe’s cookie policy.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to the app. More about how we handle personal data is in the privacy policy; questions to hello@mvpcricket.app.
